Reader’s Review

Very popular among preteens, the first of a series describes the adventures of 4 children who are highly intelligent with varying skills that allow them to come together and fight an evil power. Lots of adventure, mystery and puzzles to solve, adults may just enjoy reading this one with their kids! Warning that some of the adventures and dangers the children get into may be scary for younger or sensitive readers.

To look out for

  • Islamic Values: Children all are orphans or their parents have disappeared. They are fighting a force that wishes to gain control over the minds and memories of the masses.
  • Violence: Fist fighting results in cuts bruises. Children are almost kidnapped. One of the kids is shocked by a special watch. Much talk about adults going missing, being captured and their memories being altered.
  • Language: Constance, the youngest child, is often rude or mocks others
