Reader’s Review

Fans of the series will be excited to read this second book in the series. The four children must work together this time to save their beloved Mr. Benedict himself, and get into some serious danger as a result. This book includes a greater amount of fighting and peril, but also has themes of friendship, non-violence and choosing right from wrong.

To look out for

  • Islamic Values: The four kids ignore the instructions of Mr. Benedict in order to save him
  • Violence: this book includes more violence then the first one as the Ten Men use dangerous weapons to achieve their goals. The kids get in to many dangerous situations including being tied up and threatened a number of times. Mr. Benedict has numerous nightmares.
  • Language: children (especially the youngest Constance) sometimes use a derogatory or mocking tone, teasing others
  • Romance: Kids mention that the executives are sometimes girlfriend and boyfriend
