Reader’s Review
Classic stores from the Mathnawi, narrated in simple English that will appeal to all ages. The illustrations also add appeal to the book. The engaging fables, some of them humourous will interest even younger readers, but the deeper spiritual reflections on the journey of the human being towards God will likely be lost on children. This book is beneficial for older audiences as well.

A lion tears up a donkey. A hunter kills a bird. A thief tricks a man into stealing his money and clothes. Robbers threaten travelers with a knife. A man whips his two donkeys.
