Reader’s Review

Authors and creators of the 7 Habits franchise, write a book for young children with stories that teach the same lessons: being proactive, starting with the end in mind, putting first things first, thinking win win , seeking to understand,  creating synergy and sharpening the saw. Each story is about the same group of animal friends who learn these lessons in different ways. The stories and pictures are highly entertaining and will interest kids of all ages, but the lessons may not always make sense to younger readers.

To look out for

  • Islamic Values: All of the lessons are in line with Islamic teaching, but they are narrated in a secular perspective with no mention of God or a greater purpose. Lot’s of room to add such lessons or discussions. Listening to music and playing instruments is mentioned.
