Reader’s Review

This is a beautifully illustrated picture book that takes the reader to the streets of Cairo, and into the life of a boy who must work selling gas during the day. Although the story is sad, Ahmed’s cheerful attitude and the colourful illustrations keep the story feeling gentle and fun. His secret at the end of the story will open the door for many discussions.
