A rare find in English – the historical and Qur’anic account of the sleepers of the cave from Sura Kahf is transformed into a novel. The book is well written, but the language will likely appeal to teens or higher level readers. The story is engaging, inspiring and educational, but may become dry for kids at times with long accounts of preaching.
Look out for:
- Violence: Historical accounts of the treatments of Christians at the time include descriptions of people being fed to lions, crucifixions, stoning and lashes.
