Friends come in all sorts of shapes and sizes. In Amos McGee's case, all sorts of species, too! But when Amos is too sick to make it to the zoo, his animal friends decide it's time they returned the favor.

Reader’s Review
An adorable picture book about a zoo keeper who wakes up early every day and gets ready for a long day working and playing with the animals he watches over. But one day he’s too sick to go to work, and the animals decide to take care of him. A gentle story with a wonderful lesson; both parents and young children will enjoy this one.
To look out for
Not much of concern here, except for animals acting like human beings.
