Reader’s Review

This is an incredible picture book that narrates the life of female honeybee through stunning paintings and clear writing that both children and adults will appreciate. The constantly changing life of the bee shines through, and it is truly remarkable to imagine how much the bee accomplishes in her short life span. The only caution is that the death of the bee is described at the end of the book, which may be sad for younger or sensitive readers. This would be a wonderful book to use as a way to explain the wisdom and beauty of God’s creation.
