Reader’s Review

Children will enjoy both the eye-catching illustrations as well as the amusing story of two kids who want to help but have no superpowers to do so! Rather than depend on a power such as the ability to fly they learn that everyone has a superpower – the ability to pray to God. The additional humour provided by the father will keep older readers entertained as well.

To look out for

The lesson learned is a valuable one, but it would have been nice if the children both prayed for a solution and tried to find a solution by looking for the shoes. It’s important to teach children that we have been taught to pray and put in our best effort at the same time.
