Reader’s Review

The third book in the popular Mr. Lemoncello’s library series; similar puzzles and challenges as in the first two, but this time the theme includes recognizing fake news and lies on the internet. Kids will likely enjoy the humor and adventures, but there are a number of pop culture references and some bathroom humour to watch out for.

To look out for

  • Islamic Values: There is a Muslim character who is portrayed in a somewhat stilted manner – at the end of the book she shakes hands with a guy. There are numerous references to books, tv shows and Hollywood personalities, and some dancing at the end.
  • Language: Whoopie cushions and references to farting is frequent, some mention of the words poop and butt.
