Children of all ages will relate to many of the issues discussed in the book, from the struggles of wear hijab in a public school, to being proud of a Muslim name, to standing up for what is right. The historical story of Bilal, the companion of the Prophet, is weaved into the book in an effective manner. All of the troubles are solved by the end of the book, which isn’t always how life works, but makes for a good story for kids.
